What's Jesus doing right NOW?

The Word for today:
John 17:20-26
What is Jesus doing right now? I mean right NOW?
He is praying--for you and for me. John chapter 17, known as Jesus' "high priestly prayer" is a picture of what Jesus is doing right this very minute.
Yesterday we looked at the three tenses of salvation: salvation past, salvation present, and salvation future. We learned that there's a lot of saving left to be done for those who are already saved!
So while the Holy Spirit works out our salvation down here, Jesus is praying non-stop 'out there'--
Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. (Hebrews 7:25)
"Intercede" means that Jesus pleads your case before God the Father:
I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. (1 John 2:1)
When Jesus prays, it's war. We've seen him pray in the Garden of Gethsemane, where the ultimate prayer warrior left his blood at the scene of the battle.
He died down here to save us. Now He lives up there to keep us saved. He saves us to the uttermost—completely and perfectly:
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath through him!
For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
 (Romans 5:9-10)
Ever the Savior, Jesus--right this very minute--is saving you.
